Please leave your drone at home

A special note to owners and operators of recreational or commercial “drones”, or Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS): the safety zone on the water also applies to all sUAS. The FAA has confirmed to us that anyone flying a sUAS inside the exclusion zone marked in the water would fall in the category of “Careless and reckless operation of a sUAS”  (14 CFR part 107 5.13.2).

Drones and fireworks don't mix well...

In addition, all restrictions regarding night-time operation and operating a sUAS over crowds do apply. Please be smart and leave your drone at home and enjoy the fireworks from the ground or on the water – just like everybody else.

Thank you!!
